Privacy policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026. This policy covers this marketing website. For the AesthetiClinic application, where clinics process their patients' data, our role is that of a processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which sets out how we handle that data and lists our sub-processors.

Who we are

AesthetiClinic (aestheticlinic.io) provides clinic management software for UK aesthetics practitioners. For privacy enquiries contact hello@aestheticlinic.io.

What we collect on this site

When you request a demo or contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, clinic name, the system you currently use and any message you write. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange the demo you asked for.

When you subscribe to our newsletter or unlock a template, we collect your email address and where on the site you signed up. We only add you to the list once you confirm via the email we send (double opt-in), and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

With your consent via the cookie banner, we collect analytics about how this site is used, to improve it.

Cookies

Essential storage only, unless you accept analytics. Specifically:

  • Essential: your cookie choice itself, and small local-storage flags that remember things like a dismissed popup or an unlocked template. These identify nobody and are not tracking.
  • Analytics (only after you accept): PostHog, which records the pages you visit on this site so we can see what helps clinics most. Data is held on PostHog's EU infrastructure.

Declining analytics changes nothing about how the site works. You can clear your choice at any time by deleting this site's cookies in your browser, and the banner will ask again.

Legal basis and retention

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to you, and analytics on the basis of consent. Enquiry data is retained for up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. On this website, enquiry emails are processed by our email provider and analytics (where consented) by our analytics provider, both as processors under agreements that meet UK GDPR requirements. The full list of sub-processors for the AesthetiClinic application is in the Annex to our Data Processing Agreement.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict processing. Email hello@aestheticlinic.io and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
