Editorial policy

Know the source. Know the scope.

Our guides help independent clinic owners and practitioners find practical information. This policy explains what the attribution and dates mean, and how to report a correction.

Purpose and commercial interests

AesthetiClinic publishes the guides library and templates, and sells clinic software. Product links and comparisons reflect that commercial interest. Guidance should answer the task before inviting someone to consider the platform.

Our organisation is MAP001 Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland. Read about AesthetiClinic and Connor’s role in building the product.

Authors and reviewers

A named byline is shown only when a contribution and public approval are recorded. Existing articles without an assigned author have no personal byline. We do not infer authorship from a topic or add credentials to fill a template.

A reviewer’s contribution is distinct from authorship. Where recorded, we show the review scope and date. Product experience does not establish clinical, legal or financial expertise.

Sources and dates

Links in an article show the context in which a source is used. Where a structured source register exists, it also records the publication and access details that are available. An external link is not an endorsement of every claim on that website.

  • Published means the original publication date, when recorded. It is omitted where unknown.
  • Updated means the recorded content revision date. Rebuilding a page does not reset it.
  • Sources checked means a separately recorded check. An update date alone is not proof that every source was rechecked.

Regulation is scoped to England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. A proposal, announcement and commencement are different things. Start with the regulation overview and follow the source for the nation where you practise.

Clinical, legal and financial scope

Practitioner documents need adapting to the products, protocols, prescriber's directions and insurer's requirements that apply to the clinic. Check regulatory and financial decisions with an appropriately qualified adviser. Existing publication and update dates are visible so readers can assess the age of the information.

Customer quotations come from the approved testimonial records. Examples and demo screenshots are identified as such; they do not describe an unnamed real patient or claim an invented result.

Corrections

If a fact has changed or a source does not support the statement, email hello@aestheticlinic.io. Include the page URL, the statement and a supporting source. Please do not send patient information.

Material corrections recorded in an article’s metadata are displayed on that article and listed here. This register does not claim to be a complete historical log of edits made before structured correction records existed.

No material corrections have been added to this structured register yet.
