This treatment involves the use of a hydrating hyaluronic acid, which hydrates the lips without any minimal, subtle volume. Perfect for dehydrated lips that need some TLC, or a patient looking for a very subtle difference. At Dr. Victoria Clinic we strongly believe less is more when it comes to dermal filler treatment, to create natural, refreshing enhancements. We delicately place tiny amounts of hyaluronic acid dermal filler with precision to preserve and enhance natural features rather than "overfill". We never place more than 1ml dermal filler in one lip treatment setting as this leads to a very unnatural, overfilled result and risks migration. The lip area is a delicate area that demands precision and an artistic flare for treatment. Dermal filler itself is a hyaluronic acid gel; hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the body. 1ml is a very tiny amount, equating to the size of a blueberry, so patients should never fear looking "overfilled". We only use premium brands of medical grade, FDA and CE approved dermal filler such as Belotero by Merz, or Teoxane. The product used will depend on your assessment with the doctor.
