This is not a filler treatment and will not add volume to the lips. It temporarily relaxes the muscle above the lip, which increases the upper pink lip on show by 1-2mm by stopping the lip curling inside the mouth as much. Results can last 12-16 weeks. Not advised for those who use a woodwind instrument or speak publicly as between day 0-14 the muscles around the mouth are adjusting to treatment and it is harder to purse the lips, use a straw etc. This usually settles as you get used to the treatment. Prescription numbing cream will be applied to make this treatment comfortable.
