This treatment is for patients who wish to treat the whole face holistically and prevent the upper face looking more refreshed than the lower etc. Your treatment requirements will be discussed at your consultation in clinic- most commonly the areas treated are: forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet around the eyes, bunny lines on the nose on scrunching or smiling, down-turned corners of the mouth and pebbled chin. This treatment is popular with patients aged 35+, generally before this age 2-3 areas are sufficient. Long-term, treatment of the lines on the upper face can leave an imbalance with the upper face looking smooth and refreshed, yet the muscles in the lower face continue to strengthen with time- leading to a sad appearing mouth, deep marionette lines or folds and a pebbled or cellulite-like appearance to the chin which pull on the lower face continue to get stronger. The aim is to keep the whole face balanced and very natural.
